二、測試與評估的原則
1.體現學生在測試與評估中的主體地位
學校的教育教學工作的對象是學生,如果沒有學生的積極參與,任何的教育活動都無著落點。所以,在整個教學工作中,學生是教育的主體,教師在教育工作中起主導作用,其主導作用只有通過學生這個主體才能起作用。而測試與評估正是為教育工作服務的,它的參與也同樣離不開學生,也就是說在測試與評估活動中,學生仍然是處于主體地位的。
2.以形成性評估為主
形成性評估是指對學生日常學習過程中的表現、所取得的成績以及所反映出的情感、態度、策略等方面的發展做出評估。小學三年級英語課的主要任務是培養學生的興趣和積極性,培養他們學習英語的自信心,使他們獲得成就感,為今后的英語學習打下基礎。形成性評估有利于激勵學生學習。
3.只口試,不筆試
根據《 英語課程標準 (實驗稿)》小學英語教學的目標要求,小學三年級英語課程屬于一級水平,其指導思想是“初學英語,興趣第一”。所以,測試與評估時應只口試,不測筆試。
三、測試與評估的方式
根據上面的原則,我們認為小學三年級英語課程的測試與評估的方式可有如下三種:
1.教師對學生的口試
也就是說教師根據“小學英語教學的目標要求”,根據平時學生上課的實際情況對其進行測試與評估。我們認為可以將測試與評估分為兩大模塊,即聽、做模塊和說、唱、玩、演模塊(見附表)。根據“目標描述”設計出至少兩套口試題,讓學生自己抽簽決定用哪一套,也可按座號,如單號一套、雙號二套。
2.小組互評
即讓學生按座位分成小組進行互相評價。要求本組的學生根據平時的上課情況,例如回答問題,到講臺前表演、唱歌、與教師或同學的交流,以及做英語游戲等進行評估,組長做記錄。
3.學生自我評估
教師將教學要求印發給學生,要求學生根據自己上英語課時的各種表現,進行自我評估。我們認為應以第一種即教師對學生的口試為主,其余兩種形式為輔。
四、測試與評估要注意的幾個問題
1.多樣性與靈活性相結合
多樣性是指口試題型可準備多套,靈活性是指學生對教師所指定的題目進行口試后,對口試的結果感到不滿意時,教師應允許學生重新進行口試。
2.測試與評估應以與平時的教學活動相近的方式進行
測試與評估應采取與相同或近似的方式進行,以免學生臨考慌張不知所措,這樣必然影響其測試與評估的成績。
3.不宜將英語成績進行排隊
不論是學校還是教師,在提倡素質教育的今天,大家都在努力淡化考試的選拔功能。如果將學生英語成績進行排隊,張榜公布,并希望以此來激勵學生或作為各種評比的依據,那么將極大地傷害學生的自尊心和自信心,對他們今后的英語學習是有百弊而無一利的。

三年級學生尚處于兒童時期,他們好活動、愛表現、善模仿,對英語的學習熱情較高。隨著對早期智力開發的重視,人們對學習英語的興趣與日俱增,許多家長都希望自己的孩子從小就接觸英語,因此,他們中有些已經初步的接觸過英語了,也有的是剛開始學,但是無一例外對學習英語有一種很強的好奇心,只是這種初步興趣極不穩定的,兩三個月以后,有些學生便漸漸掉隊。我們該如何促使學生持久地保持學習興趣,為今后的學習打下一個扎實的基礎呢?現結合教學經驗淺談以下幾點:
一、三年級英語教學狀況分析
(一)就教學內容來說,句子的正確認讀和使用,音近形近單詞和字母的辨認與書寫,都影響著三年級學生學習外語的自信心。
(二)就學生本身來說,三年級個別學生還存在頑劣和懶惰傾向,上課愛搞小動作、課下作業完成不及時的壞毛病,學習效率也較差,甚至有些學生出現了厭學情緒。久而久之,兩級分化現象日趨明顯。
(三)由于家庭教育的不當或缺失,有的家庭對孩子放任和寵愛,學生在課堂上的表現往往是注意力不集中、學習興趣減退、學習情緒低落甚至厭學、棄學等,難以正常有效地完成學業,久而久之便成為學習困難學生。
二、小學三年級學生學習態度的基本特點
(一)以形象思維為主。
(二)喜歡體驗新奇。
(三)期待得到賞識。
三、三年英語教學的基本對策
(一)教學手法要出新
1.用思維吸引學生進入情景。在三年級上冊第四單元教學中,What’s this?和What’s that?的區分成為一個重點,也是一個難點,學生在what's this和what's that這兩個句子運用上混淆不清。教師可以在室內走動,但重點要注意掌控提問者與教師的距離的遠近,同時請其他學生做裁判,聽一聽提問學生有沒有用對this或that,在一次次地糾正中,學生不斷地比較不斷地思考,全體學生的注意力都集中在這兩個問句的比較和運用上,最終漸漸明白,物體離自己較近時要用”What’s this?”,物體離自己較遠時要用”What’s that?”
2.用多媒體吸引學生進入情景。多媒體集圖形、文字、動畫、聲音等為一體,帶給學生強烈的感官刺激,在教學三上第五單元What would you like?一課時尤為有效,學生的學習情緒非常高昂。
3.用插圖吸引學生進入情景。翻開我們小學英語教材,一幅幅色彩鮮明、生動形象的插圖讓人興趣倍增。它為我們的英語教學提供了豐富的課程資源,也拓展了英語教師的教學視野。我們可以利用插圖,進行師生對話問答。讓孩子們在插圖的幫助下順風順水地理解語境,理解句意。教師不斷地變幻呈現方式,一定會比傳統的單調的講授有更好的教學效果,更能提高課堂教學的有效性。
(二)易混內容要點化
1.對話教學的點化。三年級學生還不太擅長抽象思維,還不會運用判斷、推理等思維形式,對所學知識進行歸納整理。為了提高英語學習的效果,對話教學的點化是我們老師要關注的事。要提高教學效果,教師有必要對一些對話進行適當的點化,這是有效教學很重要的一環。
2.字母教學的點化。從外形上看,拼音字母和英語小寫字母有很大的相似之處,許多孩子在背誦拼音表或字母表時非常流暢,但單獨指認某個拼音字母或英語字母時會產生混淆,造成認讀錯誤。我們要從讀音上進行字母的點化教學,也可以借助兒歌進行點化。
3.形近單詞(字母)、音近單詞(字母)教學的點化。學生對“Gg”“Jj”兩個字母的讀音容易混淆,“Aa”、“Ii”、“Ee”、“Rr”這些字母的發音受漢語拼音的影響也很容易混淆。另外Qq、Kk、Ss、Xx、Cc也需要教師進行特別的關注點化。在寫法上EFLHTI fgj wvmn WVMN bdpq也很相似,種種音近和形近混淆在起,加大了三年級學生學習英語的難度。教師在教學中應針對這種情況加強這些字母的訓練。
課本中詞匯教材順序按單元編排出現,沒有形成一定的規律。教師要及時引導學生對這些重點詞匯進行整理。
(三)學習目標要激勵
1.診斷性評價堅持量體裁衣。診斷性評價是指在教學活動開始前,對評價對象的學習準備程度做出鑒定,以便采取相應措施使教學計劃順利、有效實施而進行的測定性評價。其作用主要是確定學生的學習準備程度,以便教師適當安置學生。但是,在傳統的班級授課制里,一個教師要管四、五十位學生,一位英語老師甚至要管五、六個班級,要實行因材施教幾乎是不可能的。但是我們可以進行適當的調整,向不同水平的學生提出不同的學習要求。
2.形成性評價堅持去繁就簡。形成性評價是對學生日常學習過程中的表現,在教學過程中通過教師觀察、座談、活動記錄、問卷調查、學生自評、學生互評等形式對學生的學習行為、學習能力、學習態度和合作精神等進行的持續性評價。誠然,形成性評價能使學生明確學習活動中存在的問題和改進的方向,及時修改或調整活動計劃,以期獲得更加理想的效果。我們可以適當地去繁就簡,并將評價內容量化。
3.終結性評價堅持百花齊放。終結性評價是對一個學段、一個學科教學的教育質量的評價,其目的是對學生階段性學習的質量做出結論性評價。但是一次又一次的分數失利會使部分學生漸漸喪失了前進的勇氣。我們要結合形成性評價,對不同層次的學生的學習成果進行肯定。
“教育,其實是一種喚醒”。德國的著名教育學家斯普朗格曾說過:教育的最終目的不是傳授已有的東西,而是要把人的創造力量誘導出來。教師通過啟發誘導、激勵鞭策,去喚醒學生內在的動力。以靈活多樣的教學方法為手段,優化課堂教學策略,以“激趣”為目的,充分發揮學生主體性,培養學生學習英語的興趣,讓課堂“活”起來,使學生“動”起來,我們一定能將三年級學生的學習興致持續地保持下去,為他們今后的英語學習打下一個良好的基礎。
筆者在教學中嘗試采用了以下幾點作業布置方法:
(一)分層布置作業
分層布置作業承認個體差異,因材施教,“讓每個人的個性得到自由地發展”(馬克思)。因此,我們應改全班統一,忽視個性差異的作業為層次性作業。教師在設計英語課外作業時要從學生的實際情況出發,分上、中、下三個層次來設計,考慮個別差異。值得一提的是,教師在布置作業時,不能硬性規定哪些學生做哪類作業,否則會傷害學生的自尊心,挫傷學生積極性,要讓學生自主選擇,要讓每一位學生都感到“我能做,我會做,我想做”,從而體驗成功的喜悅。這樣,作業內容分層、數量分層、時間有短期和長期之分,在內容上安排較合理的梯度,讓具有不同層次的學生在基礎和能力上各得其所,而且不斷提高其層次,既調動了學生的積極性,又能激勵學生的競爭意識,關注了每位學生的成長和進步。
(二)動手制作,激發興趣
結合每次的教學內容,學生學習程度,布置相應的書面作業和口語作業。以往布置的作業基本上是抄抄寫,讀讀背背。但經過第二次課的課前檢查來說,只有近三分之一的學生認真對待書面作業,而其余的三分之二學生只是為了完成作業而完成作業??谡Z作業,家長有時間在家督促學生的,完成效果基本沒有問題。若家長沒有時間督促,口語作業大部分學生只是應付差事。筆者任教年級是小學三年級,小學生從三年級開始學習英語,教材是外語教學與研究出版社的新標準小學英語三年級起始使用第一冊、第二冊。第二冊書中出現英語二十六個字母學習任務。烏魯木齊市天山區教研室規定講英語二十六個字母教學任務可以提前到第一冊,開學前一至兩周進行。
在教授英語二十六個字母后,利用課堂最后五至十分鐘可以讓學生大寫字母與小寫字母一起抄寫練習,熟悉書寫筆畫、字母在四線三格中的位置、手寫體與印刷體區分,課堂中進行面批,發現問題及時糾正。家庭作業布置書面作業和口語作業,不是簡單的抄寫字母,背字母。書面作業:筆者在上課時拿出自己做出的字母卡片為例,請學生參照老師制作的卡片,在家制作字母卡,第二次課時,在班中評選小小制卡員。第一次要求制作兩張卡,每人制作的字母不能一樣??ㄆ梢越Y合自己的愛好,創新制作,但一定要求畫四線三格。在制作過程中學生會想到自己的卡片要在班中評比,肯定會非常認真的書寫自己負責的兩個字母卡片。口語作業:把自己制作的字母卡上的字母給家長教讀。
(三)繪畫形象記憶
筆者在平時的教學中只是簡單的布置,抄寫單詞、讀單詞、背單詞。在檢查作業時,發現,單詞的字母拼寫出錯較多,讀單詞、背單詞的學生只能達到三分之一或三分之二。完成的效率很低。結合此種情況,筆者將書面作業布置改為抄寫單詞,講英語作業本,折四下。一行抄寫四個單詞。第一行抄寫單詞小寫字母,第二行抄寫單詞大寫字母,學生再抄寫過程中就會不斷地看字母的大小寫和拼寫。這樣既復習了英語字母書寫又熟悉了英語單詞拼寫,而且書寫的作業很少學生認為對他們簡單,就會認真對待。以單詞“milk”為例,第一行寫milk,寫四遍。第二行在對應milk的下面寫milk??谡Z作業:將家里的物品標注英語單詞。以牛奶為例,學生可以在牛奶向上用彩筆寫單詞milk 和milk給家長說說自己今天學習了那些單詞。在第二次英語課的時候可以帶來一些便于攜帶的物品,有些不便于攜帶的物品,可以請學生畫出圖形,標注對應的英語單詞,給同學們展示他標注物品的英文名稱并且給同學說說自己標注的是什么單詞、什么意思,在班級中評選小小翻譯員。這種方法技能復習單詞、字母的書寫、拼寫、朗讀、漢意,同時可以使學生在家中完成英語作業的興趣得以提高,并能將所學習的美術知識與英語知識相互結合運用。
在單詞書寫作業布置過程中,我發現有學生單詞抄寫的準確率逐步提高,記憶單詞有所進步,但不能準確說出中文意思。即:讀單詞、知道如何拼寫,不知道中文意思。根據此現象,在作業布
置時,單詞抄四遍,在第一個單詞下面漢意寫一遍、第二個到第四個單詞之間,用圖形表示抄寫單詞的漢語意思。在作業批改過程中和與學生交流過程中,我發現更為喜歡運用圖形表示單詞意思,而且單詞漢意記憶效果明顯提高。更形象更生動,記憶更深刻。

但是他把工作當做生活的追求,認真的對待每一份工作。從來不計較一些小事,他常常用一些生活的例子來教育我怎樣做人,他還常常用一些笑話來逗我和媽媽開心,在我悶悶不樂的時候會用一些開心的事情讓我高興起來。他還非常勤勞,什么事都是他搶在前面,可是他有些時候又非常懶,每到星期天他都會睡到9:30才起床,而且還要讓我們叫醒他,所以我爸爸是一個幽默,勤勞而又懶的人。
我媽媽是一名家庭主婦,她每天為我們打掃衛生,做飯,洗衣服……都是她包了,但她從來不嫌累,認真的干這些家務活,還特別關心我。作業和書寫方面都要求的非常嚴格,數學是她的強項,所以她總是給我布置一些奧數題,還常常教我用x等式,方程組那些復雜的式子來做,是讓我擴充知識面。覺得對我一生都有用,所以她才肯用這些難度大的知識讓我進行訓練。她的脾氣很大,動不動就發火,但是她能體會到我是怎樣的心情,所以我們常常溝通,來發現對方的不足。這就是我媽媽,嚴格又關心我的人。
